I was recently introduced to Tortilleria Mi Niña and my taste in tortilla chips has significantly improved. Or, rather, I’ve gotten much more selective. Mi Niña makes some of the most delicious tortilla chips I have ever had. And I say that with ultimate sincerity. You know me – I love Mexican food. I could survive solely on Mexican food (hi, someone take me to Tulum, please!). And now….Mi Niña has introduced its newest chip flavor: Jalapeño Agave. You’re in for a treat because hot damn is it tasty!
I had the pleasure of trying out the chips at a little Mi Niña party earlier this summer and fell in love. WITH TORTILLA CHIPS! It’s possible. So much so that even though I knew they’d be launching late summer, I still looked down the chip aisle for the new flavor every single time I visited Whole foods. It really sounds like I have a problem, but when you try them, you’ll understand.
Speaking of which, these chips are so darn tasty that I threw them their own little party. I invited my friend the spicy margarita (recipe coming soon!) and “Abuela Irene’s” Guacamole featured on the Mi Niña bag. I typically make my guac with lots of things – cilantro, spices galore, and sometimes even pineapple. But, this authentically delicious guacamole recipe is everything. It’s pure and delicious, and I even put it in a little avocado bowl for extra points. Grab the recipe below!
Do you have a food favorite that slightly borders on obsession? You know mine is tacos, guac, and now jalapeño agave chips. Your turn to share!
