Hopeful, astute, and love-filled books to read right now
We’re a little over halfway through March and, so far, it’s been a really wonderful reading month for me. How has it been for you? So far, I’ve read a handful of books that transported me to new places. Most of them gifted me a 5-star reading experience, which I’m forever grateful for. The same books that inspired this article because I think we could all use some love-filled books right about now.
Isn’t it incredible to think that all these books we’ve got in bookshops and libraries were once just an idea? And now, here we have them, tangible stories with which to fill our time.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we’re so lucky to have books. Not that I need to remind you of that, I think I just like to remind myself.
Lease on Love
By Falon Ballard
This rom-com is everything you need for spring. Florals, a blooming business, and a budding relationship amongst strangers turned roommates. I devoured this one and think you will, too.
ps. We’re chatting about this one on an upcoming And Her Books episode!
Three O’Clock in the Morning
By Gianrico Carofiglio
A son and his father set out to stay awake for 48 hours for a medical test and end up learning more about each other than they thought as they wander the streets of Marseilles. A true delight.

One Italian Summer
By Rebecca Serle
This book is gold. Heartbreaking and beautiful and inspiring and truly a work of art. I wanted to cry and laugh my way through Positano after reading this. An absolute must for spring 2022.
Early Morning Riser
By Katherine Heiny
One of my favorite reads of 2022 and we’re not even 4 months in. This book is so heartwarming, it’ll make you want to hug your neighbors and your friends, and your family. All I can say is: read this book.
Have you read any of these yet? What did you think?
And if not, which one caught your eye?
