Whew. It’s already Thursday! This week has been flying by and it’s been busier than ever. So busy in fact, that I had to take a step back and take Tuesday off! I rarely miss posting on Tuesdays or Thursdays, but this week has been a doozy. So instead of my typical DIY, recipe, or round-up, I thought I’d get a little personal and share some life updates. Nothing major, just a little bit of everything. Here goes nothing!
Fridays are probably my favorite days of the week. First of all, because you have the whole weekend ahead of you, but also because I get to share a new cocktail! I’ve got about 4 on the way that are so so delicious and fun. And a secret collab with my friends at Drizly for later this month! Eek! Stay tuned, y’all. For now, I’ll throw it back to one of my favorite summer cocktails, the tasty and colorful Blood Orange Paloma. And if you want a preview of what’s coming your way tomorrow – check my Insta! It’ll be up today 🙂
Almost to my surprise, this series is going so well! I’m currently on That Clean Life’s 21 day summer tune-up and feeling pretty awesome. The food has been fantastic, and quite easy to make. We’ve swapped out a few recipes, but switched them out for equally healthy meals, so I think it still counts…right? I also finished up my three day juice cleanse with Jugos and I’m officially obsessed. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I need to try a five day cleanse next time! It helps that all of the juices were positively delicious. I’ve also got a few other fun things up my sleeve, so stay tuned! Weight loss thus far: 21 lbs
That heading sounds so funny, but I think you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’ve had so many friends become friends ‘in real life’ thanks to meeting over blogging. For example, Natalie (whose blog you should be following if you’re not already)! We got in touch prior to my DC trip and we had the chance to meet up in Georgetown for coffee and scones. It was the loveliest morning.
And soon Christie of Swell Anchor Studio is coming up here for our collaborative workshop! Well..she’s the one hosting, I’ll be sitting in and seriously stepping up my calligraphy game. If you’re in Boston or wanting to take a little trip up – we have a few spots let for the beginner workshop! Grab your ticket before they’re gone and join us for an afternoon of calligraphy, tasty cocktails, treats and more!

I’ve started freelancing a bit more which I love. I’m primarily working with small businesses/apps/creatives and have been having a blast! I do a mix of things, like assisting with:
I’ve had so much fun as of late and hope to add more projects soon! Are you freelancing? What type of capabilities do you like to offer to your clients? And if not, are you thinking about jumping in? I’ve been joining a few Facebook groups lately and it’s been a major help!

Yes to making new friends out of fellow bloggers!!! It’s so fun to connect in person! Love the cards – thank you for not using my face in the photo haha 🙂
