Hello! I’ve missed you! It’s been months since I’ve blogged and I’m so happy to be back in the game. Let me cordially welcome you to my brand spankin’ new blog, by gabriella. Isn’t she so shiny? Okay, now I’ve given my blog a gender. But really, I’ve been going through blogging withdrawal and have been so excited to debut my new and (much) improved little corner of the internet.
Here’s the story
I realized I was quickly outgrowing Kneadle + Bread (my old blog) and that it was time for a change. A big change. That meant moving back on over to WordPress to start creating by gabriella. However, this was prime time for a fresh start. So, I decided not to move any of my posts/images/etc. over here and just start anew. So first and foremost, let me thank you for coming along for the ride!
The delay, you say?
Okay, real talk. It’s taken me so so long to get back into blogging simply due to the fact that I was busier than I could handle. Blogging was starting to really stress me out; I was getting worried that I wasn’t posting enough and that the quality of my posts was lacking. That’s when I knew I needed to take a break and reassess. So, I poured myself into doing my best at work and plowing through my master’s degree. In fact, just two more classes stand between me and my kick-ass degree, but I did walk in my ceremony recently which was pretty nifty! (Post to come later, for sure).
Back to the point. When something I loved so much was stressing me out, I knew it was game over. At least for a little while. So, I took the breather I desperately needed and came to the realization that I needed to start something new. K + B was tired and I was tired of it. So here I am, embarking on a new adventure with by gabriella and am so smitten that you’ve chosen to at the very least, give it a chance.
What’s in store for by gabriella
Expect to see color. Lots of color. Oh, and DIYs, tips on blogging, “how to” posts, and more. I’ve got some fun things up my sleeve and I’m brimming with excitement thinking about getting to share it all with you. So stay tuned, friends.
