Can you even believe it? 2015 is quickly coming to a close and 2016 is looming ahead. Closely, closely, ahead. So, rather than sending out the typical holiday/Christmas card this year, we opted for a cheers to the new year card from one of our favorites, Artifact Uprising.
What better way to toast to the new year with our friends and family, near and far, than with a fun Cheers! card featuring one of our favorite photographs from our afternoon in Atlanta with Kelley.
We loved these cards oh so much. Simple and elegant = my favorite combo. We like to write a personalized message on the back of each of our cards, so even sending out 25 of these babies took quite a while.
You can’t skimp on snail mail! It’s the rule.
In fact, we had to break up signing our cards into three separate sessions. Last year we were able to sign all of them in one go, but this year was a little different. But, different in a good way!
We were busy bees trying to get settled in our new place, while also shopping for the holidays, and squeezing in short family visits here and there. Whew, December sure has been a full, but absolutely wonderful month.
When we were signing our cards, two of our signing marathons happened at coffee shops and it was the perfect setting. We actually stopped by one of my Boston favorites, Ula Café. If you’re ever in the area, it’s the perfect Saturday morning spot. Oh! And there’s a lovely outdoor ice rink right next door (this is the much better, quieter alternative to skating at Frog Pond).
Do you like to send out holiday/New Year’s cards? It’s a tradition we started last year and now I’ll be looking forward to it each and every year.

LOVE a new year’s card! We definitely rushed to get Christmas cards in at the last minute this year, so maybe a new year’s card would be more our speed. Yours are adorable!
I love that picture! So happy!
Thanks, Chelsea! I’m so happy it came out so well 🙂
