Here’s a question for you, and I want you to answer truthfully.
Do you love cleaning?
Don’t worry, if you answered no, you’re not alone. In fact, you’re most likely in agreement with most people. Cleaning your home may not be the most fun way to spend a day, yet I usually find that after a winter of hibernation (especially this one in particular), it’s MUCH needed.
My husband, pup, and I have spent weeks on end (mostly) indoors, and our apartment is taking a toll – to say the least. So this time, we’re making it F-U-N.
Sure, we generally keep things neat and tidy, but that doesn’t mean we’ve been deep cleaning these past few months. And now, it’s time.
To prep for our big day….err….weekend of cleaning, we stocked up on a few things like extra dish towels and paper towels. And we replenished our Scotch-Brite™ Advanced Soap Control Dishwand and Scotchgard™ Fabric & Upholstery Protector.
If you’re a frequent home cook like myself, the Non-Stratch Dishwand is a LIFESAVER when it comes to everyday cleaning. It’s easy on my hands and it’s safe on non-stick cookware, coolers, tile and grout. Basically, this dishwand is a workhorse, and if you don’t have one yet, pop by your local Kroger to pick one up or add it to your next grocery pickup order.
And while you’re at it, grab the fabric & upholstery protector, too. It really comes in handy, because we have a dog whose favorite pastime is shedding and shaking on the couch. It’s really fun – NOT.
I like to use this time of year to protect that little sofa of ours from our little fuzzy pup. It repels liquids and blocks stains, and if a stain does make it on to our sofa, the strong protection pushes stains away from fabric fibers – so stains release easily. It’s a must for anyone who puts wear and tear on their fabrics (which is technically everyone, right?).
If you’re planning to get these 2 clean home essentials, they can both be found at your local Kroger store. We snagged our towels from there, too!
Remember when I said we’re making your clean home chores fun this time? Well, here it is.
I made you a bingo card! And it just so happens to be the exact, right size for sharing on Instagram stories. Imagine that. This way, you can hold yourself accountable AND challenge some of your friends to participate, too.
