Don’t worry, it’s even better than it sounds—and easier to make than that tongue twister I made you work on just a moment ago. Now, let me see a raise of hands, who loves the holidays?
I LOVE the holiday season! I can’t get enough. I love those tacky holiday movies, I love going to pick up a tree and decorating it at home, and I love the cozy nights in spent baking and listening to some festive jazz.
Is festive jazz even a thing or did I make it up? Either way, I dig it.
Now, I will say that it’s quite rare that you’ll find me drinking anything but iced coffee, but when it comes to speciality coffees around the holidays like the Starbucks® Holiday Blend and the Starbucks® Holiday Cookie Straws from Kroger? So, being that it’s nearly the holiday season, I’d like to share a fan favorite with you. And by fan favorite, I mean lovingly approved by Tim.
Coconut Cinnamon Holiday Coffee
Okay, so this coffee is what coconutty chocolate dreams are made of. And no, I do not care if coconutty isn’t a word.
Anyways, let’s get back to the task at hand – talking about this Coconut Cinnamon Holiday Coffee
You can make it in 5 easy steps. Here we go.
- Brew your Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee however you’d like. We like to use a french press at home.
- Mix some shredded coconut and cinnamon on a plate or in a bowl. Put some whipped cream on the rim of your glass, and pour your coconut and cinnamon mixture over it until the rim is lined with the mixture.
- Pour coffee into cup. Add milk, if you’d like.
- Top with more whipped up cream, and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Garnish with your Starbucks Holiday Cookie Straws and a cinnamon stick.
We picked ours up right at Kroger, which seemingly always has the best prices near us here in Atlanta. And it’s always so convenient. I don’t know about you, but I love grocery shopping. However, I do NOT love it when the store is packed and nothing is where I thought it would be. You know what I’m talking about – you have a routine! It’s frustrating going to a store and feeling all turned around. Is this what adulting problems are? But luckily we don’t have that problem about our go-to Kroger location; I can easily navigate my way through to find what I’m looking for, despite the rush of the holiday season.
