Celebrate Gilmore Girls day with a Doughnut & Coffee Milk Punch complete with a glazed doughnut rim, as the Gilmores would.
It’s here. Today is the day we’ve been waiting for since 2007. Or at least me. It’s Gilmore Girls Day, y’all! I’ve been anxiously awaiting this day for years; I even found myself becoming quite the Gilmore Guys podcast fan. Which, if you haven’t listened to yet, you really should. Gilmore Girls really always will hold a special place in my heart – the cozy, yet eccentric town halls, the all-night dance marathon, and the eclectic locals, I love it all.
I grew up in Connecticut and loved tuning in to Lorelei’s and Rory’s Connecticut; it was like a parallel universe, or you know, a parallel tiny state. They even mentioned one of the towns I lived in once and I nearly lost it. It was the highest honor, naturally.
Coffee Milk Punch with Coffee Tequila
This tasty coffee milk punch is a hybrid of two cocktails created by the brilliant minds over at Patrón: The Donuts & Chocolate Milk and the XO Milk Punch. This one sure is an indulgent cocktail, fit for a day as special as this one.
4 ounces Patrón XO Cafe
2 ounces tequila
4 ounces milk
1 ounce vanilla simple syrup
For the glazed doughnut rim:
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup sprinkles
1. Pour all ingredients into a tumbler.
2. Add ice.
3. Roll ingredients by pouring from one cup of the tumbler to the other, using a strainer to keep the ice in place.
4. Make glazed doughnut rim by mixing milk and powdered sugar until combined. Dip glass into glaze and then into sprinkles.
5. Pour liquid over ice.
6. Top with sprinkles and a mini doughnut!

You might be thinking to yourself, tequila? This early? Well let me be the first to tell you that this coffee tequila milk punch concoction is one sweet as heck breakfast cocktail. And also, you should really treat yo’ self. Kick off the holidays the right way.
