Winter may not officially start until December 21, but the chilly mornings up here in Massachusetts sure make it seem like it’s a heck of a lot closer! Not that I’m complaining, I’m a freak of nature and actually really love the cold and the snow. There’s something so magically cozy about it all. I love bundling up on the couch on those snowy weekend days with a good read, winter candles (pine tree…anyone?), and cookies. Lots of freshly baked cookies.
While I do enjoy winter, I also love fall. I love fall for its foliage, its crisp air that always seems to make everything feel new again, and last but not least…its tasty food! So, before winter gets here, hurry up and enjoy these five delicious fall salads!

Bonus round time. While I was looking for new salads to enjoy this fall (aka the 5 up there), I also found a fall salad…PIZZA. Yes, you heard me right. It still counts as a salad even if it’s on pizza right? That’s the rule in my house, at least.
Sarah over at My New Roots created this genius fall salad recipe and I am 100% all about it. If I could eat all of my salads on a pizza, life would be even better.
Have you found any new favorite fall recipes this year? We’ve been thoroughly enjoying lots of stuffed acorn squash this year, with sage sausage (SO GOOD!), apples, and sweet onion.

These all look amazing! And regarding your bonus salad recipe… salad on pizza is my JAM. Ever since I discovered this pizza restaurant up by our family cottage that serves salads on pizzas I’ve been super obsessed with the idea. This one looks really tasty too! Thanks for sharing this article!
It’s so good! And now it’s not even 9 am and I’m already craving salad pizza. Oops 😉
I really just want to make a salad pizza now….lol
