My fiesta bridal shower – that’s right, it truly was a fiesta.
My friend Kelly Golia gets me.
She just gets me.
She threw me the most Gabi fiesta bridal shower at her beautiful home in New Hampshire alongside my family, bridesmaids, and friends, and it was a total dream.
It was more than I ever could have imagined. She had:
Can you even believe it? Because I can barely believe it. Let’s start from the top.
The day started out with blow outs and a honey halvah latte at one of my Boston favorites, Tatte. Then we packed up and my dear friend and bridesmaid, Valeria, drove us up to a “secret” location. AKA, Kelly’s beautiful new home!
We pulled up and I saw the most beautiful tent with my closest friends and family, and a balloon arrangement welcoming us to the fiesta bridal shower.
I had no idea what they were cooking up and, to this day, I’m still stunned and nearly speechless. Well, I simply can’t be speechless or else this post wouldn’t be here!
I took a few moments to walk around and say hello to everyone who had taken time out of their weekend to join me in celebrating our upcoming nuptials. And then, as soon as I had finished up, someone yelled out – Did you see where the food is from!? It was from my all-time favorite, Loco, back home in Boston!
That may have been the most fabulous surprise of all!
The food and tables were adorned with gorgeous place settings that so perfectly fit with the bridal shower theme. She had name plates on terra cotta pieces, ethereal blooms, and mini floral arrangements.
She had even worked with the incredibly talented Bloom52 to bring a flower crown bar to life! It was truly the hit of the party – but I’m sure after seeing these beautiful photos by Kendra Engel of K. Engel Photography, you’ll understand why. Kelly even (not that I’m surprised) had the most gorgeous flower crown ready to go for me when I arrived. I wore it ALL day, including all the way home!
We played games and caught up, and my mom gave the sweetest speech. We snacked, sipped, and filled up on churro cheesecake. CHURRO CHEESECAKE. I repeat, Kelly gets me.
All in all, it was truly the sweetest day filled with so much love. And food!
