A Grapefruit Aperol Spritz, because why not? This post is sponsored by Perrier® Carbonated Mineral Water, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
Look – I know a good Aperol Spritz needs no modifications.
But, why not make a good thing even better?
Don’t get me wrong. I’m a big fan of the classic Aperol Spritz – it’s basically all we sipped on during our month in Europe last year. I mean, I sat on a hotel rooftop in the middle of Barcelona drinking an Aperol Spritz while admiring the 360 views of the city.
It honestly doesn’t get better than that.
So, here I am trying to recreate that same feeling, but with a slightly different Aperol Spritz.
Different how? Well, if you didn’t pick up on it by the title of this post: It’s got grapefruit.
Which I love. I can snack on broiled grapefruit with a little brown sugar. Or just straight from the fruit basket. Or in cocktails like the classic Paloma. Or now, in this Grapefruit Aperol Spritz!
And, whether you enjoy grapefruit as much as I do or not – this refreshing, easy, and light cocktail is sure to please.
This one’s particularly easy if you’re entertaining and want to make a batch/speciality cocktail for the shindig. Why, you ask? Well, great question.
Because you can make it with just 3 ingredients! All you’re doing is swapping out the club soda that gives the typical Aperol Spritz a little extra oomph with the new Pink Grapefruit flavored Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water.
4 oz Aperol
2 oz Prosecco
1 oz Pink Grapefruit Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water
1 grapefruit wedge
1. Pour Prosecco into a red wine glass filled with ice.
2. Add the Aperol and Perrier.
3. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.
Oh, and if grapefruit isn’t your thing (I understand it’s not for everyone), Perrier has a bunch of other tasty flavors! They’ve got:
How good does a Watermelon Aperol Spritz sound? I think it sounds absolutely divine, so that one may be up next for me! All that’s left is for you to find your flavor! Which one’s calling your name?
