Sharing the 5 most Instagrammable spots in Dublin.

Remember that one time we went to Dublin and loved it?
I do!
I shared my shortlist for best cafés in Dubin, and now it’s time to share my top 5 most Instagrammable spots in Dublin. Let’s dive right in.
We lucked out with weather throughout our trip. Sure, it did rain quite a bit, though we managed to hide under trees or stop in nearby shops to take cover. The city was mostly gray while we were there, yet you won’t find me complaining since that makes for the perfect photo lighting. We could go without the rain next time, though!
We were also luckily well-rested and totally fueled for the weekend. Our experience flying overnight with Delta was impeccable. Our breakfast in the morning and the cozy blanket and pillows for the long haul over the Atlantic made flying to Europe a total breeze. And just look at that breakfast! Fresh fruit, flavorful granola, and a miniature personal jam? A total dream to wake up to, especially on a plane.
Now, the list you’ve been waiting for. If you’re on your way to Dublin in the near future and looking for some adorable Instagrammable spots – here are my top 5!
St. Stephen’s Green
I know, I know. It’s just a park. You can find one in every city.
But, I hope you’ll give St. Stephen’s Green some credit.
First of all, it’s gorgeous. It’s not just a wide open park, it boasts cozy little sections surrounded by flowers, photo-perfect footbridges, and walkways draped in greenery. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle, talk a walk through St. Stephen’s Green. It’s a little escape in the center of Dublin, perfect for a moment of relaxation and calm during a day of exploring the city.
Dame Lane
Dame Lane is the late night spot. Actually, who are we kidding? It’s Dublin and Dame Lane is the spot at all times of the day. It’s a teeny tiny throughway lined with lively bars and restaurants.
It’s also covered in flags, which makes for super fun Dublin Instagram photos. Take a few at the end of the lane that meets Trinity St. and you’ll capture the little street in its entirety in the background.
River Liffey
We were lucky enough to snag a hotel right on the river and loved walking by the water each day during our stay. It’s a lovely spot, lined with eateries on both sides. Grab a seat on the river with a cup of coffee in hand and take it all in.
Of course, also Instagram it with #thelocalgem so I can see your favorite local spot(s) in Dublin!
The Liberties
Oh, those colorful doors of Dublin. We loved them so much. I must have stopped about 40 times to take photographs of them (sorry, Tim!). I may have looked a bit strange, or perhaps simply like a tourist in Ireland. It was worth it, though. I think I may actually even order a large print for our new home! If it’s Instagrammable spots you’re looking for, take a walk through The Liberties and be prepared to experience major door envy.
Trinity College
I’m a sucker for universities. I worked in higher education for a few years and loved it beyond words. So, I like to scope out other universities when I’m traveling. I had heard a ton about Trinity and its gorgeous downtown campus. They even have a visitor center! That’s how popular of a destination it is.
With that said, venture through campus at an off-time. Perhaps early in the morning or right around sunset. The buildings are massive and beautiful, and perfect for photos.
Now that you know my top 5 most Instagrammable spots in Dublin, I hope you’ll check them out! What are some of your favorite Instagrammable spots in your own neighborhood?

All these photos are so gorgeous! I am a sucker for the doors too so I have a feeling I would love that neighborhood. Also, I can’t believe that is plane-food breakfast! It looks so good!
