I move in one month. ONE. MONTH. Not only am I moving into a one bedroom, I’m moving into a one bedroom with my favorite guy. You heard me right. T. is moving on up! Okay…moving back (up) to Boston from Atlanta. In fact, I’m not even moving out of my building – I’m simply moving two floors up! Ideal, I know.
I’m sure he’ll be rolling his eyes at this (I can see it now), but I’ve been eyeing a few pieces I’d like to invest in. And by “eyeing” I mean lusting after. Lusting as in, I won’t even close their Chrome tabs. I just can’t do it.
I’ve got a few things on my list that I need. Okay, I’m not unreasonable. I know I don’t need them, but I really really want them. All of them. Here they are, my new apartment favorites.
Basically, if you couldn’t tell, my dream is to have a West Elm-outfitted apartment. That sofa and dresser though. Can you even take it? Because I can’t.
I know we’ll need to pick up a ton of things for the new apartment, but I can’t wait to make it our own.
Fun fact: I’ve never, ever, lived in a one-bedroom! So this is super exciting. I’ve never really had the chance to decorate an entire apartment. I’m both slightly scared, but also over-the-moon ecstatic to have my very own space (with my guy, of course). Thank goodness we somewhat have similar tastes. Even better, he’s way too good to me and usually lets me pick out what I want. Which then makes me want to find pieces that we both like! Duh!

pps. The featured image here is borrowed from my most favorite home tour yet, go check out Jordan’s unreasonably beautiful SF home tour on A Cup of Jo. Just some more inspiration for ya!
So what’s on your current house/apartment favorites list?

That sofa looks extremely comfortable, and the coloured tables are stunning!

Doesn’t it? I so badly want to curl up on that couch….well…immediately! And I’m obsessed with the R&B bookshelves. Admittedly, I’d get the white, but at least I’d fill it with colorful books!

Isn’t it perfect!? I actually found a more affordable (basically a replica) mirror at IKEA and might pick that one up instead!

Love your selection, and that added bit of colour. To be honest my selections would be very similar, we have similar tastes. My friend who’s a furniture designer is creating me a desk at the moment, mega exciting!

I just recently found a super similar lamp to that Schoolhouse Electric lamp at Target that I pitched to a client! I think you will love it: http://www.target.com/p/modern-globe-floor-lamp-brassy-gold-threshold/-/A-17314531#prodSlot=medium_1_9&term=floor+lamp
Oh my, this lamp is BEAUTIFUL! I’m so glad you shared, thank you! I’m adding this to my list asap.

I love daydreaming about new living spaces. I have the buffet/console from the same line as that dresser. It’s a good one!
I’m obsessed with that collection! It’s so perfect. We’re actually working on DIY-ing our dresser to look more like it!
