Maybe it’s the weather, or that I’m finally escaping to D.C. with friends this week, but I am so ready for spring. I’ve been daydreaming about all the brightly colored clothing I want (but probably shouldn’t buy) and adding clothing to my online shopping carts like its my job.
I actually think I have (online) shopping carts full at J.Crew, LOFT, and more. It’s bad, so so bad, but also fantastic. Have you seen all of the adorable pastel colored tops, shorts, and accessories? I’m obsessed! My closet feels totally inadequate and not ready for spring yet at all.
Stripes are also everywhere! Have you noticed? I’m always a fan of stripes – I think 30% of my closet is striped, and this spring is no different. Well, a little bit because instead of bright stripes, I’ve been loving all of the black and white going around. It’s the perfect complement to the bright pieces like those adorable J.Crew Factory boardwalk shorts.
So it’s all pink and stripes for me this year! Well, that’s the hope at least 😉

I have those lace up Loeffler Randall flats in black and LOVE them! I am not a big heels person, so I love that they are a bit dressier..making me feel like I can wear them for occasions where one might typically wear heels.
