A bright and flavorful spring charcuterie board to take on the go.

The weather is finally warming up in Atlanta (despite a few chilly days) and that means outdoor dining is BACK!
Do you love eating outside as much as I do? Well, it helps when you’ve got a charcuterie board on hand.
I’m just saying.
A charcuterie board makes everything better, even outdoor springtime snacks, which are pretty stellar on their own.
So, I wanted to share some helpful tidbits on how I built my own on the go springtime charcuterie board and how you can build your very own without the stress.
Feature a New Springtime Favorite
Let me just say that having a few boxes of TRISCUIT Crackers on hand makes assembling a charcuterie board so darn easy. Did you know that TRISCUIT Crackers have a whole bunch of recipes for how to top your own TRISCUIT Crackers? I went with a sweet citrusy combo of grapefruit, honey, and avocado – otherwise known by TRISCUIT Crackers as the honeygrapocadoscuit. Tough to say, but easy to make:
See? Easiest new springtime favorite, yet.
I picked up a few boxes of TRISCUIT Crackers at my local Kroger right in the ‘crackers’ aisle. And, let me just say, deciding on which single box of TRISCUIT Crackers to get was too tough, so I simply bought my top two this time around. I went with the Original (can you blame me? They’re just so good!) and the Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil. Both worked perfectly with the honeygrapocadoscuit. And better yet – they’re non-GMO! So, shop now to make sure you’ve got TRISCUIT Crackers on hand for your next charcuterie adventure.
Add color
It is a springtime charcuterie board, isn’t it? Get foods with color! Fun ways to do this are with sliced bell peppers, edible flowers, and of course – that beautiful green and pink color palette – thanks to the TRISCUIT Cracker, grapefruit, and avocado combo. This is also a fun way to challenge yourself to add different foods to your charcuterie board that you may not have otherwise.
Mix it up
I went to my local Kroger with a vision in mind for my springtime charcuterie board, and then ran with it depending on what I found. I picked up dried fruits, nuts, cheese (hard and soft to appeal to everyone), meats, fresh fruit, veggies, and of course – my beloved TRISCUIT Crackers.
Prep ahead of time
If you’re planning on having your springtime charcuterie board on the go, then you’re going to want to prep beforehand. There’s nothing worse than getting to your picnic (or wherever you’re taking your tasty charcuterie board) and realizing you don’t have the right utensils to chop your veggies or fruit, or whatever it may be.
So, take inventory of all your charcuterie board goodies and prep everything that requires….well….prepping. Slice your veggies, wash your fruit, and grab any flatware or serveware you might need to have on hand.
Do you plan on celebrating the warm weather with a springtime charcuterie board? What’s the one food you always have to have on your charcuterie boards?
