Fridays before a long weekend are THE. BEST. FRIDAYS. Am I right? I think so. It’s so freeing. Even though I love my job (and I actually do because I get to work in social media all day with some of the coolest clients and people – win!) – I still love the feeling of a Friday when I know I have three full days to relax, get caught up with blogging, read my favorite blogs, and visit with family. Ideal, right? Well this Friday is even better because I made you a Sriracha Watermelon Cooler. Yup. Might sound weird, it might sound delicious – either way, it’s damn good.
And I’m not just saying that because I made it. I actually like when other people make me cocktails, like when T. whips me up a tasty whiskey drink after work. It doesn’t get better than that, does it? And now you all have Chumbawumba stuck in your head. Enjoy. Well, this Friday I’m super excited for trekking around Massachusetts visiting our family and friends. Oh and BBQ. I. love. bbq. And fresh burgers on the grill, and tasty summer drinks.
I’m so ready. Not that this week was tough, it was a good one for sure. But, we could all use a Sriracha Watermelon Cooler (or two) in our lives, right? This one was a total experiment, but I think it worked! T. enjoyed it and so did I, so really, 100% of our focus group gave it an A. Score.
We used a locally-made Sriracha, which is the most 2016 thing I could ever say, but it’s so good. We use it on eggs, and ….well that’s it so far. We’re trying to find more uses (besides boozy ones, not that they aren’t delicious) for it. Do you have any favorite Sriracha pairings? Do share, y’all.
