In case you missed it, I spent a few days gallivanting around Cape May with my family and fell in love with it. Seriously, who knew!? Cape May, New Jersey is quite possibly one of the cutest little beach towns I’ve ever seen. We climbed to the top of the Cape May lighthouse and were treated to a pretty magnificent view, we made our way to the beach (err…every day), and even visited the Wildwood Boardwalk – have you ever been? I have to say, it was totally weird, but quite entertaining. Regardless, it was such a fun road trip – and especially fun because T. secretly prepared a summer road trip playlist for us! What a guy, right?
With T. being so awesome and surprising me with a playlist for our road trip, I thought it would be fun to surprise you with a summer road trip playlist of your own! I’ve got a few of my favorite americana hits on there, some feel-good indie, a little folk, and more. All in all, it’s full of summer vibes and totally ready to help you get to your road trip destination. Unless you’re driving cross-country, in which you’d need a much longer playlist (sorry, y’all).
Here it is, you’re summery, happy go lucky playlist for your next road trip. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Oh, and if you need a car to get to your destination, check out Turo. I lived in Boston for 5 years without a car and if only I had known about Turo, I would have definitely taken more road trips! Sure, there are other options, but they’re quite pricey. Instead of renting cars from major car rental companies, this one’s all about community. Rent it from a peer – aka those who have opted to list their cars for others to rent. Nifty, right? Regardless of if you’re taking Turo or not, hopefully this summer playlist gets you in the mood for a sunny road trip!
If you are taking one soon, where are you headed? I almost wish I was heading back down to Cape May right about now. A girl can dream, right?

Such cute polaroids! Sounds like a fabulous little place. Playlists are so necessary for traveling! Can’t wait to listen.
Thank you! I really couldn’t believe it. It was like the whole town was right out of a movie – so so cute! And enjoy! Hope you have as much fun listening to it as I had making it 😉
