Our favorite things to do in Dublin, Ireland
Remember that one time we went to Europe for a month and visited Dublin twice?
Well, to be fair, it was because we were flying in and out of Dublin with Delta when they launched their direct route from Boston.
Regardless, we enjoyed our time there so much that when we were invited to a wedding in central Ireland for two of our dearest friends, we thought why not add on a few extra days at the beginning and end of our trip to enjoy Dublin again?
So that’s exactly what we did.
We visited a few of our favorite spots there and found a few new ones. During the first leg of our trip, we were in town with 5 of our friends (all of us in one Airbnb with ONE bathroom, I kid you not) which made things fun and interesting…and crazy.
It was a total blast. If you can get a group together for our Ireland trip, I highly recommend it. Life is better with friends, isn’t it?
Eat & drink
How’d you know that this was going to be at the top of our list? It’s like you know me or something. Here are a few of our favorite eateries from this trip to Dublin:
Explore
Dublin is extremely walkable, while some streets can get a little dicey (the city was founded in 841!), it’s fairly flat and the weather is temperate. Perfect walking conditions, if you ask me. So, here are a few of the things you might want to check out while you’re in Dublin:
Shop
I’m a big reader, which you may or may not already know. This means that I could probably focus this whole category on bookshops, but I’ll refrain.
Caffeinate
This one may be last, but it is certainly not least. Here are a few spots to grab some coffee while you’re in town:
What do you think, is Ireland on your must-visit list?
