If you have never had or experienced a Painkiller Cocktail (or any tiki drinks for that matter), you are thoroughly missing out. Let me tell you. I discovered this little diddy on my very first night in Atlanta with my fella, T.
We drove all the way down to Atlanta from Boston on a fun-filled two day road trip, and by the time we dropped our things off at the hotel in Atlanta, we were ready to venture out and see the city!
Because we always make an extensive google doc for traveling, we knew where we wanted to go first – Victory Sandwich Bar. It sure was the best decision. I’m getting off topic here, but it’s okay, because I get to talk about my favorite spot in Atlanta. Donut worry, I’ll be sharing a fun Atlanta city guide, soon, so you’ll get to hear about the rest of my favorite spots!
Anyways, that first night, I had the most delicious little snack with a Painkiller cocktail at Victory. To be honest, I don’t think that the Painkiller is actually one of the ‘traditional’ tiki drinks, but I found these glasses last weekend at The Boston Shaker (aka the cutest store ever) and needed an excuse to use them. So, Painkiller tiki drinks it was!
These drinks are so stinkin’ easy to make, and so delicious to boot. If you like coconut, pineapple, and basically summer in a drink, you have to give these a shot.
Plus, the recipe is a breeze. It’s actually not mine, but I had to take this opportunity to share my favorite Painkiller recipe from Imbibe Magazine. Check it out and let me know what you think!
