We started a podcast! Meet And Her Books, a bookish podcast.
It feels surreal to say that I started a podcast. My friend, Megan, and I connected via the lovely world of bookstagram a while back and when she reached out with the idea to create a bookish podcast together, I immediately asked when we could get started.
And now, a few weeks later here we are with 3 episodes under our belts!
And Her Books is a podcast celebrating the art of reading. Each week, we cover the books we’re reading, explore how storytelling influences creativity, and indulge in interviews with creative women about the work they’re passionate about and, of course, their books.
And Her Books is a true labor of love and we’re having an absolute blast. It’s been such a delight so far to chat with Holly and Megan (our first two guests!) about their work in the creative industry and which books they’ve been loving on recently.
One of the biggest episodes, to date, is our fall anticipated releases, where we talk through the books that are at the top of our lists for this coming season.
We have SO much planned for the coming weeks, like:
- A seasonal readathon
- Spooky season recommendations
- Lots and lots of interviews with creative women doing their own thing
While Megan and I are new to the podcast world, we’re not new to the wonderful world of reading. If you ask either of us what our ideal way to spend our time is, you’re sure to hear a resounding “curled up with a good book!” And, whether you’re an avid reader or hopping back into it after some time away, we hope that you enjoy our weekly chats as much as we do.
