Talking about an important wedding planning task…and why it should be your first!
First and foremost, I promise to spare you NO details throughout my new/revived wedding post collection. The year leading up to our wedding was exciting and stressful and quite frankly, exhausting. I grew tired of making decisions, of spending copious amounts of money (thanks, credit cards!), and of answering questions that probably didn’t need to be asked in the first place. Honestly, I wanted to send “let me google that for you” links entirely too many times.
But, don’t let me scare you away! I’m just being real with you. Despite the hectic year, our wedding was beautiful, fun, and so full of love. We spent the day with our most treasured friends and family and danced the night away. Then also had an afterparty. It was the best.
Now let’s get down to business.

Now that you’re engaged and diving into wedding planning, trust me I know it’s a lot to swallow, it’s time to take a step back and think about this first wedding planning task.
Figure out what makes you, you. You being you and your significant other.
What makes your relationship unique? What special quirks do you two share or favorite memories that helped your relationship blossom? Do I sound like someone’s mom yet or what?
