Holiday hostess must-haves for the festive season
It’s that season, y’all!
It’s December and the holidays are upon us. And, I’m unreasonably excited.
As we were driving home from a Straight No Chaser concert a few weeks ago, a friend of ours asked what holiday movie I was going to watch first.
HA. I laughed at loud, honestly. Because little did he know I had already watched about 7. It’s my kryptonite. I honestly don’t know what it is, but those terribly cheese holiday movies are my jam.
They’re just something so cozy about them that makes me love the holiday season that much more. You know, those small town settings where everyone knows everyone? I’m into it.
I could go on and on, so let’s get back to hosting for the holidays. You know it, I know it – it can be exhausting.
So I’m hoping this curated list of my 12 favorite holiday hostess must-haves helps ease some of the stress. You can do anything with a big charcuterie board, seriously. Like…..how about a snack/grazing board party instead of a full on dinner party?
Doesn’t that sound swell? Gosh, that means you won’t be in the kitchen all day and night cooking for your guests! And, that also means that you’ll get to enjoy spending time with your guests instead of running around attempting to keep all the hot food hot and the cold food cold. Does that stress anyone else out? If only we all had those nifty heat lamps like restaurants do.
Noted for my next kitchen purchase, HA. I’m sure my husband would love that.
Before he sees this and gets worried that I’m actually going to buy heat lamps for our kitchen, let’s get to the good stuff. Here are my top 12 holiday hostess must-haves from Wayfair!
What’s at the top of your holiday hostess must-haves list? I loved peppering in a few pieces of décor here, then keeping it simple with new kitchen items. Because, well, kitchens tend to be full already!
