However, I always love adding something a little special. A fun homemade surprise, if you will. For this Blood Orange Cardamom Bubbly, it’s the tasty vanilla-cardamom simple syrup. If you’re new to making simple syrup at home, this one is no different. All you add is a touch of vanilla extract and a hint of cardamom. [ezcol_1third]Ingredients For the cocktail 3 parts freshly squeezed blood orange juice 2 parts cava 1 part vanilla-cardamom simple syrup For the vanilla-cardamom simple syrup 1 part granulated sugar 1 part water Sprinkle of cardamom 1 teaspoon vanilla extract[/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end]Directions 1. Make your simple syrup. Heat water and sugar over low heat until combined. 2. Take off heat and add vanilla and cardamom. 3. Stir and let sit for 15 minutes. 4.
