An easy Easter menu to make hosting this year’s dinner a total breeze.
Y’all are never going to believe what I did this week. I made a ham for the FIRST time ever. And guess what?
It was a total success.
Perhaps that’s because CUREMASTER RESERVE® Ham made it easy for me. So so easy. I’ve never hosted Easter dinner and, quite frankly, I was a little intimidated at the thought of cooking a ham on my own. I was nervous that I would undercook it. Or overcook it. Or drop it.
Lucky for me, none of that happened. In fact, the ham was DELICIOUS. Like unbelievably scrumptious.
The ham is the bread and butter of your easy Easter menu. It’s the anchor item. It should be delicious, with minimal stress. So, how about trying a CUREMASTER RESERVE® Ham? Order your own from the brand’s small-batch line in minutes. Literally. In fact, the step that will take the most time is picking out which ham and glaze pairing you want.
That’s right. They’ve got hand-trimmed and hardwood smoked to perfection hams in 5 unique flavors which you can pair with one of six glazes. And if you, like me, have a tough time making a decision on which scrumptious glaze to get, order a flight!
We went with Campfire Sugar Rubbed Ham paired with the Cranberry Chipotle Glaze. So. Much. Yum. I think it tasted even better knowing that a dedicated Curemaster oversees the process to ensure quality and continue the brand’s heritage.
Does it get any easier than having the ham shipped to your doorstep? I think not. It’ll come frozen, which means you can either pop it right in the freezer at home, or let it defrost according to directions.
Once you’re ready to make it,CUREMASTER RESERVE® makes it easy by including a little booklet with instructions. We cooked ours per their directions, at 12 minutes per pound. Once it was heated to 140 degrees, we slathered the delicious glaze on and popped it back in the oven for a bit. Easy as pie, y’all! Perhaps that phrase will become easy as……ham. Maybe not.
The sides
Now that you’ve got your pièce de résistance cooking, keep the meal simple and stress-free by selecting two sides to serve with it. I went with rosemary truffle potatoes and roasted asparagus. It was SO easy because I put everything in the oven at the same time and cooked up the entire meal in about 2.5 hours. Heck. Yes.
Easter is almost here, but you’ve got plenty of time to order a ham for the spring holiday! Plus, if you use the code TRYCUREMASTERHAM20, you’ll save $20! Talk about a win-win.
Are you hosting Easter this year? What’s on your menu?
