A lavender milk punch recipe to help you feel like it’s actually spring.
I’d add edible flowers to every cocktail if I could.
They’re just so beautiful. And they make drinks look that much more special. Wouldn’t you agree?
The secret is that some stores, like Whole Foods, sell edible flowers right in the herb section! I know, what a dream, right?
So easy. But, lately they haven’t been there and I’m terrified that they’re going to stop selling them. If you’re reading this post, Whole Foods, (doubt it) please keep them! And, maybe sell them in more stores so it’s easier for more people to use edible flowers in their cocktails.
Don’t mind my plea to Whole Foods, just trying to help y’all out there. Anyways, let’s get to the spring cocktail recipe!
I have to admit that I’m a bit of a liar. Mostly because this floral spring cocktail doesn’t actually include milk – it’s made with almond milk! So yummy. And, even better for you. Well, as ‘better’ for you as any cocktail can be. Without further ado, here’s how to make your own:
And, if you’re entertaining, complicated cocktails start to get tough to whip up for a crowd. Instead, opt for one that includes less than 5 integral ingredients and less than 5 steps to make. Or if you really need to make that difficult cocktail, see what you can prep in advance.Perhaps it’s slicing the fruit or measuring out ingredients – whatever it is, make it easier for yourself, not harder.
