My favorite margarita recipes (plus a bonus crowd favorite!)
I. Love. Margaritas.
And yes, of course I love the classic, OG margarita.
However, I also love super creative margaritas – like CHURRO MARGARITAS(!) and Hibiscus Aperol Margaritas. Oh, and this White Dragon recipe that y’all have been loving. There’s so much you can do to add a little flair (or a lot of it) to the classic margarita recipe.
And, with it being Cinco and all – oh yeah, and Tim’s birthday, too! – I thought it was high time I round up a few of my all-time favorite margarita recipes that have been featured here over the past 10 years.
Let’s get right to it.
Fresh raspberries and a rhubarb simple syrup? I’m all about it.
This one is similar to the Grapefruit Rose Margarita, but instead of using rose water, it features edible rose petals. This one’s perfect for you if you’re looking to use up some of your fresh spring berries.
For not loving spicy foods, I sure do love a good spicy cocktail. And this Spicy Fresno Pepper Margarita is just the ticket if you like to indulge on some spicy cocktails, too.
Feeling up for a little challenge? This Hibiscus Aperol Margarita is DELICIOUS with the citrus salt rim. Can you say major yum?
This Grapefruit Rose Margarita is a recent favorite. And, if you’ve got rose water accessible, then you should DEFINITELY make this one.
Okay okay, this one is for those who are really looking for something different. It’s best paired with churro tortilla chips (or actual churros!).
A bonus cocktail: An old favorite – and one of the most popular cocktails on By Gabriella, the Honey & Smoke Mezcal. SO GOOD. Make it, you’ll love it.
