A spring bucket list for you and yours this season.
This post has been sponsored by Canada Dry®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Living in Atlanta means it nearly already feels like spring.
Which most people would be thrilled about. But here I am, a total winter lover.
So, knowing how much I love winter and how much I miss snow now that we live in the South, I thought it would be helpful and fun to get ready for the spring season by creating my own little spring bucket list! Which includes, but is not limited to, enjoying cocktails/mocktails with the brand new Diet Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade from Kroger (it’s in the soda aisle!) and hosting fancy spring picnics out in that sunny, warm weather.
Sounds pretty magical, doesn’t it? There’s little that beats a spring meal al fresco, if you ask me. So, let’s chat about this picnic.
Make it potluck style and encourage everyone to bring an item. Potluck means little prep is necessary, as you’ll only be focusing on 1-2 items instead of the entire meal. I’ll be stirring up cocktails and mocktails for mine with Canada Dry from Kroger. It has such a delicious ginger taste, which is a win for me because I LOVE ginger in…well…lots of things, including drinks. The new Diet Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade is my current go-to, but there’s also a new Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Orangeade that is perfect for a spring drink too. For my picnic, I’ll be bringing loaded avocado toast and jammy eggs. Clearly I enjoy a good, fancy picnic, ha!
If it’s a mocktail that you’re after, try the Ginger Cucumber Fizz. It’s easy, but sounds semi-extravagant. All you’ll need to do to prep beforehand is blend up some cucumber (as much as you’d like depending on the number of friends you have joining you) and strain it with a fine mesh strainer into a jar or two. Then, stir the two together in a glass (1 part cucumber juice, 1 part Canada Dry) and garnish with a sliced cucumber.
And, if you want to jazz it up a bit, add in 1 oz of Aperol! It reminds me of an Aperol spritz, which subsequently reminds me of our summer in Europe. Major yum.
Now, if you want to see what else is on my (fairly lengthy) spring bucket list— here you go! Hope you find some fun new things to add to your list, too.
Whew! That was quite the list. I can’t wait to start knocking these off and really enjoying the spring season in the south. What’s at the top of your spring bucket list? Drop it in the comments below! I’ll be adding those to my list over on Instagram.
ps. We used Kroger’s ClickList to pick up the Canada Dry and holy cow was it a breeze. It wasn’t even 5 minutes from when I arrived at the store to when I was driving home. Talk about efficient.
