Introducing: The Breakfast Routine. This post has been sponsored by Post®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We, millennials, are an interesting generation.
I’m particularly fascinated by how nostalgic we are.
We remember so much and hold on so tightly to our favorites from years ago – songs, snacks, and all that 90s jazz. Okay, not that many years ago considering we’re all still quite young. But we really are so nostalgic. Not that I’m complaining – I love it! In fact, we even go to 90s night, no joke. Why would I joke about that? That’s no laughing matter.
Another favorite I’ve been nostalgic for is delicious breakfast cereals.
You know the ones I’m talking about. The cereals that don’t taste like cardboard. The cereals you dream about for breakfast….or perhaps for a little post-dinner snack. And, now I’m here to tell you some good news.
Yes! For real! If that doesn’t bring you back to the good old days (aka the early 90s), I’m not sure what will.
Remember that one time when breakfast always magically appeared on the kitchen table? Now that was the breakfast routine that dreams were made of. While that isn’t necessarily the case these days, breakfast can still be what your dreams are made of. And also fast!
I feel like my breakfast routine is always changing. I go from extensive breakfast recipes with way too many steps and ingredients right back to simple, easy breakfasts. Does anyone else do the same?
And now that Honey Maid® S’mores cereal is out and Post brought back their oh so delightful Oreo® O’s, I can’t get enough! Most convenient part? They’re available at your local Kroger store!
Though I have to admit, the Honey Maid® S’mores cereal has absolutely taken the cake as my favorite. Imagine if this one was around when we were kids!? Those bland breakfast oatmeal bowls wouldn’t even stand a chance.
If you haven’t tried it yet – which you should – here’s what it tastes like – a s’more! I kid you not. Also, is it called a s’more when you’re only talking about one? Who knows. Perhaps no one asks that question because who eats just ONE s’more? Well – if you do know the answer, please share.
Now, I know that, yes, S’mores is the name of the cereal, but you know those foods that claim to be a certain flavor but actually taste nothing like it? Well, luckily, that’s not the case here.
Honey Maid® S’mores cereal has crisp graham cracker flavored pieces, sweet marshmallows, and rich chocolate. It fits into a balanced diet at 120 calories per serving AND it also has 40 percent of your daily recommended iron and folic acid for added nutrition. If that’s not enough to convince you that you deserve a bowl of this cereal, I simply don’t know what will.
I’m not sure what your breakfast routine looks like, but I’ll be stopping by Kroger’s cereal aisle a little more frequently these days. And even easier, you can add the Honey Maid® S’mores cereal and Oreo® O’s products to your next Clicklist order!
I mean, can you blame me when a Honey Maid® S’mores cereal is on the shelves?! I think not. And now, because you know us millenials love reminiscing, what’s a food from your childhood that you wish you could be enjoying right this very moment?
