Slow weekend mornings are my absolute favorite. Well, Saturday mornings to be exact, because you still have the whole weekend ahead of you. It’s the dreamiest time of all, really. So, to curb those sweet brunch cravings and spend a little extra time cozied up at home, I wanted to share my go-to tropical yogurt parfait recipe with you.
It’s easy, simple, and totally satisfies my sweet tooth that strikes every now and again. Full disclosure: This tropical yogurt parfait recipe was inspired by one of my favorites in Atlanta – Lottafrutta! I kid you not, I actually almost missed my last flight back to Boston because I was waiting for Lottafrutta to open up in the airport before my flight.
They opened at 6 am, my flight started boarded at 6:15 am – I was meant to have one last Dolce Vitta before heading back to Boston. Alas, the opening employee was late and I waited until 6:10, but she couldn’t estimate their opening time that day.
I was totally devastated! It sounds so pathetic, but they’re just that good. I even almost missed a flight to get a darn yogurt parfait since my flight was actually in a different terminal. Oh well, If you’re visiting Atlanta anytime soon and not going to Lottafrutta, you’re doing it wrong. So. Wrong.
Sure, my rendition is nowhere near as delicious as Lottafrutta’s, but it comes pretty close! And it is holding me off until my next trip…..or until we finally move there? 😉

These look so yummy – I may need to try one out with mango and pineapple <3

Absolutely! I usually have pineapple in it, but this time I only had frozen and it wasn’t ideal. It’s SO good with it though!
